What this site stores
Browser local storage is similar to a cookie: it saves information on your device, although your browser does not automatically send it with every request. These sites use local storage for your settings and, only with your permission, analytics identifiers.
| Item | Purpose | When it is used | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|---|
gerry-analytics-consent-v1 | Remembers whether you allow analytics. | After you make a privacy choice. | Until changed or removed from this browser. |
gerry-theme | Remembers a light or dark theme on the marketing site. | After you choose a theme. | Until changed or removed from this browser. |
| PostHog identifiers | Count visits and measure use of pages and examples. | Only after you allow analytics. | Subject to the PostHog SDK's browser storage and your browser settings; cleared when analytics is turned off through its opt-out control. |
The site does not include advertising pixels or session replay in its configured tracker. Hosting and security features can process web requests independently of analytics.
Hosting cookies: The site uses the browser storage described in this notice. Anonymous checks on October 11, 2026 found no cookies set by the homepage or its stylesheet and analytics script. Cloudflare can use security cookies when it applies bot protection or challenges. Those cookies depend on the protection applied to a request; the check does not cover every response.
See Cloudflare's cookie reference for its security cookie names and purposes.
Manage your choice
Use the Privacy choices button on any page. Select No thanks to decline or stop optional analytics. Select Allow analytics to enable it. Both choices leave the site's information available.
We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Either signal keeps optional analytics off even after an earlier acceptance. You can also clear this site's data in your browser, which removes saved settings and may cause the site to ask again.
Turning analytics off stops new events. It does not delete events already sent to PostHog. Use the privacy contact in the Privacy notice for a request concerning stored records.
Where optional analytics goes
Consented events go to PostHog's US service. They cover page paths, referring website names, selected campaign labels, browser and device information, and selected actions. The tracker excludes full query strings, chat text, and form text from those events.
Server-side analytics retention: PostHog retains event data for one year on the free plan currently used by these sites. This period is separate from browser storage and the records used to administer the provider's own service.
Read the Privacy notice for purposes, recipients, customer-workspace boundaries, international processing, and privacy requests.
